I cannot believe I have lived in New York City for over 5 years and I have never ventured to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. So beautiful I can't wait to go back in the Spring when the cherry blossom trees are in full bloom! My favorite things were the Japanese gardens, Aquatic House + Orchid Collection, and the Desert Pavilion.

There's so much to love about a good tartan skirt. I am planning on wearing this one with vintage band shirts and sneakers once the weather warms up again. In the meantime, I have already been wearing this piece with winter sweaters and boots, such a perfect length!

Where's the music festival at? But seriously, I am loving the idea of dressing up the "poncho" to reflect a city lifestyle. Looking forward to finding some more casual pullovers to mix into my winter layers this season.
I love exploring my new neighborhood, so many cute restaurants and shops within walking distance. What a relief to finally escape the craziness that was my old midtown dwelling. Luckily I live close to this little park, such a sweet escape from the city.
