Spent the weekend in Charleston, SC... I instantly fell in love with the city, and most importantly; the food! I thought I would share a few of my favorites for anyone who decides to visit: Parlour Deluxe for homemade root beer floats, marshmallow fluff on top of ice cream and pimento cheese sandwiches. Cannon Green for the best local and seasonal meal you will ever have, save room for dessert! Zero George for deviled eggs and cocktails in a charming setting (Cannon Green's sister restaurant, also a boutique hotel). Sugar Bakeshop for lemon curd and vanilla blueberry cupcakes.
After embellishing my lace-up pumps with brooches, seen here and here, I decided to try out another way of adding sparkle to my shoes... So I tracked down these sweet rhinestone bow shoe clips, and I even had the perfect pair of polka dot flats from Cecelia to put them on! My favorite part about vintage shoe clips is the versatility, I can add them to just about any of my flats or heels. They are not difficult to find either! If you cannot wait to stumble across a pair while thrifting, I would suggest doing a search for "Vintage Rhinestone Shoe Clips" on eBay or Etsy. Thank you to Cecelia for sponsoring this post.
